About

Wide Receiver University was created by Vancouver born Rashaun Simonise. Rashaun played 3 seasons at University of Calgary from 2013-2015 before leaving early to play semi pro arena football for the Chicago Eagles.  After a short stint with the eagles, Simonise was able to move up to the premier arena league with the Jacksonville Sharks. After a short 3 months in Jacksonville, Simonise was able to attract enough NFL attention to be the first wide receiver in Canadian history to host a pro day for only him. 6 NFL teams had flown up to university of Calgary to watch him workout. After a stellar performance he was abruptly signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. Since then Simonise has played for multiple CFL, arena and outdoor professional football teams and maintained a 6 year pro career. Currently Rashaun is working with young athletes around the lower mainland hoping to give back the knowledge he’s learned through his journey and highlight where he made mistakes to steer the younger generation in the proper direction needed for success.
